Vikings Also In the Mix For Spags?
Steve Spagnuolo appears to have a wealth of suitors.
Spagnuolo’s name was tied to the Eagles even before he was fired as head coach of the Rams. And on Wednesday, ESPN reported that the Falcons “would love” to bring him in as defensive coordinator as well.
Yet another team has been thrown into the mix. Clark Judge of CBS Sports wrote on Jan. 7 that Minnesota is lining up candidates to interview for the defensive coordinator post, which is still occupied by Fred Pagac.
According to Judge signs point to Pagac being let go, and Spagnuolo is in consideration along with Raheem Morris, Mel Tucker and Mike Singletary.
Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier was an assistant coach alongside Spagnuolo in Philadelphia from 1999-2002.
A source tells Judge that Spagnuolo could be the front-runner for the Minnesota job.
