Vick, Maclin Miss Practice, Questionable For Sunday

Three practices down for the Eagles this week, all three without Michael Vick.

For the third straight day, Vick did not participate in Eagles practice. This time, he wasn’t even there as a spectator. Neither was Jeremy Maclin. The wide receiver has been sidelined by shoulder and hamstring injuries all week. Vick continues to deal with a pair of broken ribs.

Andy Reid announced both players as questionable for Sunday night’s game. Reid said that Vick has not thrown at all this week, and to his knowledge the quarterback has never started without taking any practice reps.

“We keep an open  communication, that’s how we do it. So, that’s how we’ll go. I know he wants to  play, and I understand that, so that’s what he’s shooting for,” said Reid. ”I think we’ve got  to make sure we check with the docs, and Rick, and see how things go.”

It appears more and more likely that Vince Young will be under center on Sunday when the Eagles face the Giants. He is 2-0 in his career against New York with three touchdowns and no interceptions.

“Vince has taken all the reps with the ones and, you know, if we have to go that direction, we’re good there,” said Reid. “I feel very comfortable with Vince; he’s had a good week of practice.”

In other injury news, Brandon Graham (rib contusion) is questionable. King Dunlap and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie have both been ruled out.
