Brandon Graham Among Active Eagles
LINCOLN FINANCIAL FIELD — Brandon Graham is active for Monday night’s game against the Bears and is expected to see his first action of the season.
Graham, who suffered a knee injury against Dallas last December, was placed on the physically unable to perform list as he rehabbed following microfracture surgery. He was taken off the PUP list on Friday.
Graham’s conditioning has improved, he said, as has his grasp of Jim Washburn’s scheme. The defensive line coach has been putting him through a boot camp of sorts, focusing much of his attention on the Michigan product to try and get him up to speed.
“I pretty much got it now,” said Graham. “I know all the plays; some of the stuff I need to work on the way he wants it. I thought I had it but he wanted to tweak some little stuff here and there. It’s still a learning process because [the other defensive linemen] went through it at camp and now pretty much got it. I gotta catch up.”
Graham’s emergence comes just in time, as Juqua Parker is out for Monday’s game with a high ankle sprain.
Also inactive for the Eagles: Mike Kafka, Curtis Marsh, Jarrad Page, Julian Vandervelde, Winston Justice, Juqua Parker and Phillip Hunt.
