Morning Cheat Sheet
Here’s everything you need to know in Philadelphia sports this Tuesday morning:
1. What the Eagles will look like in 2011 is still unknown, but Brian Westbrook said he wants to return. Meanwhile, a report indicated at least three teams are interested in Kevin Kolb.
2. The Sixers’ schedule is about to a lot tougher, but fortunately for them Elton Brand has gotten Doug Collins’ message and Andre Iguodala is taking his game to another level on the defensive end. It also doesn’t hurt to have a guy like Jodie Meeks with a shooter’s mentality.
3. Peter Laviolette pulled out his best Andy Reid impression and took the blame for the Flyers’ 7-0 loss Sunday in New York, saying he overworked them. John Miller writes that the coach should be applauded for taking blame but that’s not all he has to do.
4. The Flyers have more issues too, like what’s wrong with the Briere line, defensemen being taxed and Jeff Carter’s health. But for fans in need of some uplifting video, the “History Will Be Made” commercials are coming back, and here’s a collection of all the Flyers spots from last season.
5. Need something to panic about today, Phillies fans? Roy Oswalt got lit up Monday. But relax, it’s still March.
