Here’s what you need to know in Philadelphia sports this Monday morning:

1. Catch the Pro Bowl? Well, you better catch Sunday’s Super Bowl, Rob Ellis writes, because the expiring CBA could cause some serious football withdrawal. (On that note, Philly Sports Daily is hosting  Super Bowl party at McFadden’s – free beer and food for first half, but only if you sign up. Details here.)

2. As expected, the Eagles plan to place the franchise tag on Michael Vick sometime in February before that CBA expires.

3. Andre Iguodala showed off his best Sunday night, helping the Sixers beat the Nuggets 110-99.

4. Danny Briere and Claude Giroux both scored in the NHL All-Star Game, but Briere’s team won so he gets bragging rights at their house and in the Flyers locker room. The game also featured a cool ovation for Peter Laviolette in his return to Carolina.

5. Patrick Sharp is the guy who got away from the Flyers, and he showed why yet again Sunday night.
