Graham Ratchets Up Trash Talk With Rodgers
A little trash-talking has sprung up in front of in front of Sunday’s opener between the Eagles and Packers, and it’s coming from a pretty unlikely source.
Rookie defensive end Brandon Graham a couple days ago used his Twitter account to blast off the following in Aaron Rodgers’ direction.
“I cant wait to whisper something in Aaron Rodgers ear…..SACK!!!!!!”
Graham was given the opportunity to change his tune Wednesday but instead upped the ante.
“You have to have fun out there. You gotta dream about taking him down,” said Graham, “and I’m dreaming about taking him down two or three times. I want to be a factor in the game – the whole game – and continue to get to the ball.”
Rodgers was told on Wednesday what Graham had to say.
“I enjoy the banter back and forth. I enjoy the hostile environment,” said Rodgers. “It adds electricity to the game, and Brandon’s a very good player. I think he’ll be a good player for a very long time. I’m hopeful we’ll be able to keep him off me and out of my ear.”
