BILL LYON

Bill Lyon is widely considered to be the best sports columnist in Philadelphia history. Bill first came to Philadelphia in 1972 to write for the Inquirer. Since then, he has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize six times, won the National Headliner Award, and also won eight Keystone Press Awards, nine Associated Press Writing Awards, two Emmys, been named the Pennsylvania Sportswriter of the Year seven times and been inducted into the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame. ROB ELLIS

Rob is a columnist at Philly Sports Daily. He is a fast-rising star at WIP 610-AM and also played a critical role in the launch and continued success of Comcast SportsNet. A lifelong Philadelphian, Rob has a deep understanding of what happens on the field of play and how that unique Philadelphia mindset will react. Tim is the Eagles beat reporter at Philly Sports Daily. He is a well-known and well-regarded on-air personality at 97.5 (FM) The Fanatic. Gordie Jones is Philly Sports Daily’s Sixers beat reporter.
